Our current Mission:

We are dedicated to providing decent, safe and sanitary housing to enrolled tribal members through the utilization of available grant programs.

Our current program:

The Sauk-Suiattle Housing department is currently assisting Twenty four families directly with housing assistance through rental housing, tenant based rental assistance and Act 37 housing units

Our current Activities:

An update of housing policies is currently underway with plans for finalization from council approval in the near future. A new level of customer service is binging provided with the use of the Housing Data Systems (HDS) software. This system is being utilized to full capabilities for billing and document generation since June 1 statement cycle.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act have made some additional funding available to the housing department to supplement our Housing dollars. These funds are going to be used to weatherize and update our existing housing stock. Precision Home Inspection Services was contracted and completed the inspections in the Jimmy Price Sub-division.
