Tribal Council Announces Public Meeting Schedule for Community Members

The Sauk-Suiattle Tribal Council has announced the public meeting schedule for the upcoming months, providing community members with opportunities to stay informed and participate in tribal governance.

Public meetings will be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Tribal Administration Building. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM and are open to all tribal members.

"We encourage all community members to attend these meetings and make their voices heard," stated Council Chairperson Robert Miller. "These gatherings are essential for transparent governance and community input on important decisions affecting our tribe."

Upcoming meeting dates include May 7, May 21, June 4, and June 18. Agendas will be posted one week prior to each meeting on the tribal website and at the administration office.

Topics for discussion will include housing development updates, health and social services programs, natural resources management, and cultural preservation initiatives. Community members are welcome to submit agenda items for consideration by contacting the Tribal Secretary's office at least 10 days before the scheduled meeting.

For those unable to attend in person, meeting minutes and key decisions will be published on the tribal website within one week following each session.
